Rules of the Sweepstake: Disneyland Paris Stay for 4

The European company Beyond Meat EU BV with its headquarters at: Schiphol Boulevard 359, 1118 BJ, Schiphol, NL organises a sweepstake via the @BeyondMeatEU Instagram profile.  The sweepstake is in no way affiliated with Instagram or Meta. The sweepstake allows participants to win a one night stay, with park tickets, at Disneyland Paris. Below are the rules that govern the game.

Participation Rules and Timing

The sweepstake will run from 07/03/2023 until 12pm CET on 10/03/2023.

Any individual residing in The UK, The Netherlands or Germany and who is 18 years old or higher may participate in the sweepstake, with the exception of Beyond Meat’s employees. 

By participating in the sweepstake you accept the following terms and conditions.

Conditions of participation

Participants must follow @BeyondMeatEU on Instagram, comment on the relevant Instagram post and like the relevant Instagram post during the entry period listed above.  Any entry completed after the period indicated in the first paragraph will not allow customers to participate in the sweepstake.

Prizes to be awarded

A total of 5 prizes will be awarded.  The prize consists of a one night stay including park tickets for up to a maximum of 4 people:

One ‘superior room’ in Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel or the Newport Bay Club Hotel, depending on availability, as determined by Beyond Meat. The room will have 2 double beds and sleep up to 4 people.

Breakfast at the hotel the morning after the one night stay.

Disneyland Paris park tickets valid for 2 days: day 1 to be the same date as the hotel stay, day 2 to be the day after the hotel stay.

There is only 1 prize to be awarded per country. Each participant is only entitled to win a single prize.

Determination of the winners

Winners will be subject to a draw.  The draw will take place on 10/03/2023.  The draw will be made using a computer-based random generator. 

Notification to the winners

Participants will be notified that they have won via direct message from the @BeyondMeatEU Instagram account.  Upon notice of winning, the winner must respond within 12 hours, or they will forfeit their prize and another winner will be chosen.

Upon notification that they have won, the winner must provide 3 possible dates that they can visit Disneyland Paris, those dates should fall within 6 months of the notification of winning.

When a date for the visit is confirmed between the winner and Disneyland Paris, the winner will receive a confirmation letter via email. Park tickets can be collected from the front desk at Disneyland Paris upon arrival at the park.

Liability

With the exception of their serious or intentional fault, neither Beyond Meat, nor its staff, nor the third parties called upon in the context of the sweepstake may be held liable for any damage, direct or indirect, of any nature whatsoever, which would arise on the occasion of, or within the framework of the participation in the sweepstake or would result from the organization of the sweepstake, the allocation or non-attribution of the prizes whatever either its cause, its origin or its consequences, even when Beyond Meat is informed of the risks of such damages.

Beyond Meat cannot be held liable either in the event of incompatibilities between the technologies used for the sweepstake and the hardware and/or software configuration that the participant uses.

Beyond Meat reserves the right to modify or cancel the sweepstake or its rules at any time and for any reason, if circumstances that are unforeseeable or beyond its control justify it. 

Beyond Meat cannot be held responsible if, for reasons that are unforeseeable or beyond its control, this sweepstake has to be interrupted, postponed or cancelled.

Beyond Meat cannot under any circumstances be held liable for partial or total loss of registrations throughout the duration of the sweepstake.

The use of the prizes made available by Beyond Meat and Disneyland Parks is at the risk and on the own resource of the winners. Beyond Meat cannot be held liable under these rules or the sweepstakes for the use of prizes by winners.

Complaint

Any complaint in relation to the sweepstake may be addressed to [email protected]

Upon reception of the complaint, Beyond Meat’s customer service will assess whether or not the complaint has grounds and if any mistake was conducted in the course of the sweepstake.  It will inform the complainant of its decision within one week. 

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

In the event of force majeure, if unforeseen cases arise or in the event of a dispute, Beyond Meat may take all necessary decisions to ensure the smooth running of the sweepstake.  Its decisions will be sovereign and without appeal.

The participants undertake, in the event of a discussion concerning the application or interpretation of these rules, to first seek an amicable solution with Beyond Meat before initiating legal proceedings.

If one of the provisions of these rules were to be considered null or invalid, the other provisions of the Rules would retain their full and entire legal force.

The rules, as well as the course of the sweepstake itself, are subject to United Kingdom, Germany or Netherlands law dependent upon the country in which the entrant is based. In the event of a dispute, the courts of the district of the United Kingdom, Germany or Netherlands have exclusive jurisdiction dependent upon the country in which the entrant is based.
