Our latest Beyond Burger and Beyond Steak are the first plant-based burger and steak to qualify as climate solutions, based on the criteria and safeguards outlined in the Climate Solution Framework developed by the Exponential Roadmap Initiative (ERI) in collaboration with Oxford Net Zero.

Our Impact

A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study, reviewed by a panel of third-party specialists, was conducted by an international expert in food system sustainability and compared the environmental impact from raw materials to distribution of our latest Beyond Burger with a ¼ lb. beef patty produced in the United States. The result? Producing a Beyond Burger uses significantly less water, land and (non-renewable) energy – and it generates less Greenhouse gas emissions (GHGe) than a beef patty.
