The Beyond Burger is Now in the UK!

This November we marked an important milestone in making #plantbased meat more accessible globally. We're BEYOND excited to bring The Beyond Burger to the UK's largest retailer, Tesco!

"We see the growing global demand for delicious, plant-based proteins and are excited to serve that demand in the UK with the revolutionary Beyond Burger," said Seth Goldman, our Executive Chair. "Bringing our innovative approach to merchandising to the UK, Tesco will sell The Beyond Burger in the chilled meat aisle alongside animal-based proteins. This strategy has proven extremely successful in the US, and we are optimistic we'll see a similar positive reaction in the UK."

Our friends across the pond have been waiting patiently as we've worked hard to make this a reality and we can't wait for them to taste The Future of Protein.

According to the team at Tesco: "The Beyond Burger has been one of the most eagerly anticipated food launches of the year and we believe that this fantastic tasting patty will be a real game changer for anyone considering going vegan or trying a flexitarian diet. The most common reaction from those that have tried it is that they cannot believe it is made from plants."

In addition to being in retail, The Beyond Burger is also on menus at all Honest Burgers and All Bar One locations in the UK. More exciting updates to come, but in the meantime check out all the fun we had at the UK launch earlier this year below!
