Beyond Meat Makes Fast Company "50 World's Most Innovative Companies of 2014"
November 7, 2016
Beyond Meat was recently selected as one of Fast Company’s annual World's Most Innovative Companies issue, which honors leading businesses including Google, Amazon, Airbnb, and Nike (last year’s Most Innovative Company), along with such rising newcomers as GoPro, GoldieBlox, and FitBit.
The Most Innovative Companies is Fast Company’s most significant, high-profile editorial effort of the year. The editorial team spends months gathering and sifting data, to identify those enterprises that exemplify the best in business from across the economy and around the world. The end result is a package that dares to be different, emphasizing not just revenue growth and profit margins but also progressive, sustainable business models and an ethos of creativity. This year’s honorees include major brands such as Dodge, Johnnie Walker, GE, and Michael Kors; creative upstarts like Warby Parker and Box; and food-technology companies Beyond Meat and BrightFarms. Internationally, Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies package spans the globe celebrating such companies as China's Xiaomi (No. 3), India’s ZipDial (No. 8), and Brazil’s Braskem (No.41).
“The culture of innovation across the globe is more robust than ever,” reports Fast Company editor Robert Safian, who identifies 12 lessons of innovation for 2014 within the issue. “To win
in such a fast-changing environment requires a new kind of business agility.”
