Beyond Steak Bake

1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Drizzle with olive oil and add the steak. Sear, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes, or until the steak is evenly caramelized. Transfer the meat to a bowl and set aside to cool. Toss the steak with the vegan cheese and mayonnaise and separate into four equal portions.

2. Preheat a new skillet over medium-high heat. Drizzle with olive oil and add the onions. Season with salt and pepper and cook until caramelized. Add the bell peppers and sliced garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute. Deglaze the pan with the vinegar, remove from heat, and add the minced oregano. Divide the mixture into four portions and set aside to cool.

3. Lightly flour a cutting board and roll out the pizza dough until it is ¼-inch thick. Add 1 portion of the steak in a line towards the bottom of the dough round. Top with 1 portion of the onion and bell pepper mixture and encase the filling like it’s a burrito. Brush with oil and top with shredded vegan cheese.

4. Repeat with the remaining steak bakes. Bake all of them at 400 F for 30 minutes or until evenly brown and crisp. Let cool for 10 minutes and serve.
