SIRHA 2025: BEYOND MEAT® LAUNCHES BEYOND STEAK® FOR FOODSERVICE IN FRANCE

Starting February 2025, restaurants will be able to feature Beyond Steak plant-based pieces on their menus.
Paris, January 23, 2025 – Beyond Meat®, a leader in plant-based meat, is introducing its Beyond Steak® to French restaurants for the first time.
BEYOND STEAK
A new innovation, designed to deliver a juicy, tender and delicious bite, Beyond Steak can be enjoyed by meat eaters, flexitarians and vegetarians alike. Receiving rave reviews and winning awards internationally, Beyond Steak is perfect for restauranteurs seeking to diversify their menus with plant-based options, offering dishes such as beef bourguignon, poke bowls, or burritos.
Beyond Steak pieces are easy to portion and quick to prepare. Made with plant-based ingredients such as fava beans and wheat, Beyond Steak contains 24g of protein and 182 calories per 100g. It is also low in saturated fat (1g per serving) and contains no cholesterol.
BEYOND CHICKEN STYLE
The Beyond Chicken-Style range is an exciting new addition now available to French restaurateurs through METRO, Costco, Creta Gel, SDV, and all distributors specializing in plant-based alternatives. Like all of the Beyond Meat products, the new Beyond Chicken-Style products are made from plant-based ingredients.
Crispy on the outside with a golden breadcrumb coating and incredibly tender and juicy inside, this product range includes Beyond Tenders, Beyond Nuggets, Beyond Schnitzel, and Beyond Burger Chicken-Style. Perfect for adding flexitarian, vegetarian, or vegan options to menus, they can be easily prepared by pan-frying, deep-frying, or baking.

Consumers are increasingly shifting towards flexitarian diets, seeking nutritious, plant-based products. For instance, 68% of French consumers aim to reduce their meat consumption, and 27% regularly eat plant-based alternatives (IFOP 2023 Agrimer Study). These numbers continue to grow year after year.
