Beyond Meat Lands a Spot on Fast Company's MOST INNOVATIVE COMPANIES LIST... Again!

February 14, 2017 | By: Beyond Meat

"The maker of the popular plant-based burger [Beyond Burger] has exceeded beefy expectations." - Fast Company

Fast Company recently revealed the 50 Most Innovative Companies of 2017. This is their most significant, high-profile editorial effort of the year, where they celebrate organizations that "tap both heartstrings and purse strings and use the engine of commerce to make a difference in the world."

We are beyond honored to have landed the no. 48 spot for FC's 10th edition, and be ranked alongside visionary tech companies such as Amazon and Facebook. Fast Company called out Beyond Meat for exceeding beefy expectations with the release of the Beyond Burger. According to the publisher, the Beyond Burger's meat case placement "is a radical leap forward for mainstreaming more sustainable alternatives to animal farming."

It's important to us that the consumer has the ability to make the decision about plant versus animal [protein] in the meat case itself. By providing more consumers with this option, we hope to empower them with the ability to bring exciting change to the dinner plate - and beyond.

  • We were also named to the Top Ten list in Fast Company's Food category.
  • We were named to Fast Company's Most Innovative List back in 2014 as well.
