My name is Ethan Brown, founder and CEO of Beyond Meat®. I founded Beyond Meat® with one overriding goal: to create plant-based proteins with the taste, texture, and nutrition of animal meat.

In the country's Heartland, Columbia, Missouri, you’ll find us making delicious products to replace animal protein in your favorite dishes. From Iron Chef Alton Brown to New York Times food critic Mark Bittman, some pretty discriminating palates have told us we’re on to something.

In the news, we all heard about the chicken salmonella outbreak that hospitalized a lot of people across the country. Salmonella is not unique to the meat industry but it sure seems to like hanging out there. It’s time to make a change.

You have the right to safe and clean protein. I can’t control what animal meat producers do in their facilities, but I can promise you that we’ll always put your health and safety first.

But don’t take my word for it. Please come visit and watch us make your food. We’re located at 1714 Commerce Court, Columbia, Missouri. Our doors are open for you.

    They never will. Agribusiness has pushed laws via congressmen to ensure that their facilities aren’t open to the public. I love your product and commend you on your approach.

    When people start trying to infiltrate your plant and do everything in their power to shut you down and put a hsus spin on everything they take pictures of and even attempt to pay people off to cause great financial harm to your facility you may change your mind about opening up to anyone that shows up. Sounds like an easy pass for someone to cause great damage to your business. In this day in age we have to protect ourselves.

    i love it! i have been a vegan for 6 months now and have only slightly delved into meat replacements. i would love to give beyond meat a try! i live in knoxville, tennessee so the closest place would be chattanooga. i would love to see beyond meat come to knoxville. this transparency challenge is perfect and i just wanted to thank you.

    i run a vegan blog with inexpensive recipes and i will totally feature beyond meat the next time i run down to chattanooga! looking forward to trying your product.
