Sesame Chicken Slaw

  • 1 Tbs. fresh ginger, peeled and cut into quarters
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 4 Tbs. tahini
  • 3 Tbs. mirin 1 Tbs. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2/3 cup fresh cilantro


  • 1 package Beyond Chicken Grilled Strips, shredded 3 cups napa cabbage, shredded
  • 2 cups purple cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup basil leaves, cut to thin strips
  • 3 carrots, grated
  • 1 cup daikon radish, grated 1/2 jalapeƱo, seeded and minced
  • 1/2 cup green onion, finely chopped
  • zest of one lime
  • juice of 1/2 lime
  • 2 Tbs. sesame seeds
  • 2/3 cup peanuts, chopped


  1. Add all dressing ingredients to a food processor or powerful blender. Process until very smooth and fragrant.
  2. Toss together all slaw ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Fold in completed sesame dressing until all veggies are coated and everything is well mixed.
  4. Serve immediately or for even more flavor, chill overnight and serve the next day.
