Ingredients

Burger

  • 4 Beyond Burger patties
  • We used Follow Your Heart Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 - 18 ounce bottle BBQ Sauce
  • Baked Beans
  • 1 pack Brioche or Potato Hamburger Buns

Coleslaw

  • 1 head of Purple and Green Cabbage
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Pinches Salt & Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegan Mayonnaise (optional)

Optional Toppings

  • 1 Jalapeno, sliced
  • Pickles
Preparation
  • 1.) Preheat and clean grill.
  • 2.) Finely shred half of the purple and green cabbages and add them to a large mixing bowl. To that bowl add 2 shredded carrots along with your mustard, vinegar, mayonnaise (optional) and season with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly until incorporated. Once finished, set aside in the refrigerator.
  • 3.) Warm up your baked beans in a pot on a medium-low setting. Turn to simmer if they start to bubble.
  • 4.) With your grill primed, place your Beyond Meat burger patties, seasoning them lightly, and cooking 3 minutes a side. Internal temp should hit 165-degrees Fahrenheit.
  • 5.) Add cheese to your patties before removing from grill and allowing them to rest for a few minutes.
  • 6.) Now it's time to assemble your burger. With your toasted buns, first apply a layer of BBQ Baked beans on the bottom bun. Place your patty on top of that and top your patty with your coleslaw. Drizzle some BBQ sauce and garnish with thinly sliced Jalapenos before putting on the top bun.
  • 7.) And enjoy!!!
